Law School Teacher Li Xiaoxiao Claims First Prize at 14th Beijing College Young Teachers’ Teaching Skills Competition

Recently, the results of the 14th Beijing College Young Teachers’ Teaching Skills Competition were officially announced. Li Xiaoxiao, a faculty member at BNU Law School, claimed the first prize in the humanities category and was also honored with the Best Lesson Plan Award. His supervising professors, Liang Yingxiu and He Dan, received the Excellent Supervisor Award.







Held biennially, the Beijing Young Teachers' Teaching Skills Competition has evolved into the capital's largest and most prestigious teaching contest for young faculty. The competition is divided into four categories: science, engineering, medicine, and humanities. The humanities category, hosted by Peking University, attracted 136 young teachers from 69 institutions across the city.



Li secured her place in the city-wide finals by claiming first prize in the Law School preliminary round and the special prize in the BNU final. Centered on the concept of “delivering a good class,” the competition evaluated participants across three dimensions: teaching design, on-site demonstration, and teaching reflection. Teacher Li Xiaoxiao prepared meticulously for the competition, continuously refining his skills and meticulously completing all required aspects of the competition. With his outstanding performance and solid foundation, he achieved excellent results, marking a historic breakthrough for BNU Law School in this prestigious competition.
