Youthful and vibrant, students from the Law School displayed their prowess and flair on the field at the 2024 Spring Sports Meeting

As if versed in the sonnet of April, everything unfolds with grace. The spring landscape is a tapestry of boundless beauty, and sports arrive just in season.

Vying for primacy, a flotilla of hundreds sets sail for excellence. Youth blazes with fervor, racing towards dreams of a brighter tomorrow!

On the vibrant morning of April 26, 2024, the Beijing Normal University Spring Sports Extravaganza unfurled its banners. On the bustling fields of competition, the Law School's contingent of teachers and students immersed themselves in a variety of events, exuding a distinctive élan and dynamism.

Each starting gun, each leap, and each cast is a chronicle of their toil and determination. They push the boundaries of their abilities, transcending limits in the crucible of competition, embodying a spirit of unyielding courage and relentless perseverance.

I. Opening Ceremony

At 8 a.m., each courtyard contingent marched in orderly succession. The dazzling display at the opening ceremony captivated the audience, leaving them in awe. Bathed in the morning sun's rosy embrace, the law school's formation approached the podium with precise and resolute strides at the sports meet's inauguration. Their steps exuded vitality and an indomitable spirit, while their cohesive formation radiated confidence and fortitude. During the opening ceremony, the Law School's contingent exemplified the carefree and assured demeanor of our students. Our stellar presentation garnered the "Best Entrance Style Award" and the "Excellence in Physical Health Award," underscoring our commitment to both academic and athletic prowess.




II. Undergraduate Students Sports Style

1. Undergraduate Group A Cooperative Run of Teachers & Students

At 9:30 a.m., Chen Xuanyu, Teacher Cai Wen, Sun Ziyue, and Shi Yuwen led the charge, collaborating with faultless synergy to surge across the finish line as the leading team in their group. Their performance exemplified a tableau of cooperation, unity, and mutual advancement, highlighting the harmonious bond between faculty and students.




2. Undergraduate Group A - Women's 100m

The participants in the women's 100m event this time were Zheng Yuexi and Song Jie from the 2023 class of the Law School. They gave their all on the field, with youth and vitality! Come on, girls!

3. Undergraduate Group A - Men's 100m

The participants in the men's 100m event were Cai Xuxin, a young athlete from the 2023 class, and Si Yi, a veteran athlete from the 2022 class. Upon the field, they exhibited unbridled courage in pursuit of their youthful aspirations.

Among them, Cai Xuxin successfully advanced to the men's 100m final with a third-place finish in the preliminary round.

4. Undergraduate Group A - 30 × 150 meter Ranking Race

30 students from various grades formed this excellent team together. They did their best and kept moving forward one after another, achieving a good result of eighth place and demonstrating the superior athletic strength of the Law School. Let's congratulate them!

5. Undergraduate Class A - Women's 800m

At 11:25 a.m., the 800-meter race for undergraduate group A commenced. Un daunted by the blazing sun, Zhao Xinyu and Wang Anni poured their hearts into the race. Ultimately, Zhao Xinyu clinched the championship with a commanding lead.




6. Undergraduate Group A - Men's 800m

In the men's 800-meter race, two of our school's athletes toiled tirelessly, their exertion evident in every drop of sweat. As time elapsed, each second grew increasingly invaluable. Amidst the intense rivalry, they charged towards the finish line with an indomitable spirit, crossing it in the finest form, a testament to their exceptional performance!

7. Undergraduate Group A - Team Aerobics

At 10 a.m., the undergraduate group's aerobics competition officially commenced. The lively jumps and spins exemplified the buoyant spirit of the law school contingent. Their faces beamed with smiles, and their movements were both precise and robust, embodying the vibrancy of youth through their graceful postures. Following the morning's heats, our cheerleading squad triumphantly secured a spot in the finals. By 2 p.m., the law school students received resounding applause from the crowd for their outstanding performance, culminating in an impressive eighth-place finish!

8. Undergraduate Group A - 40m Ball Carrying Run

At 3pm in the afternoon, the 40-meter ball carrying race for undergraduate group A kicked off. Six athletes from the Law School united and cooperated, and achieved excellent results in eighth place.

9. Undergraduate Group A - Women's 4x100m Relay

At 4 p.m., the women's 4x100m relay for Group A officially got underway. Confronted with fierce competition, the quartet of Wang Anni, Zheng Xiyang, Wang Shujing, and Liu Jiaxuan burst with vitality and tenacity. Their relentless drive and unyielding spirit shone through, exemplifying the youthful allure and determination of the Law School's contingent.

10. Undergraduate Group A - Men's 4x100m Relay

In the men's 4x100m relay, a team of four—Si Yi, Yan Jiazhi, Cai Xuxin, and Wang Zimo—sprinted with the swiftness of lightning, seamlessly transferring the baton with precision and grace. Each exchange was a fusion of velocity and fervor, a showcase of their collective strength and unity. They delivered a breathtaking performance, epitomizing the formidable power of teamwork.

11. Undergraduate Group A - 3v3 Basketball Bullfighting Tournament

In the inaugural match pitting the Law School against their erstwhile comrades from the School of History, the team confront...ugh initially at a disadvantage, the Law School athletes remained resolute and tenacious, battling to the final whistle. Although the outcome was not in our favor, the team's courage and determination garnered applause from the spectators and the admiration of their adversaries.

In the redemption match, the Law School team squared off against their counterparts from the School of Art and Communication. Drawing lessons from past errors, they fine-tuned their tactics and battled fiercely on the field, capitalizing on every chance to secure a resounding victory. However, in their subsequent encounter with the School of Foreign Languages, despite a valiant effort and a fleeting lead, the team ultimately succumbed to a narrow loss, just missing the cutoff for the quarterfinals.

Though the outcomes were disappointing, the sweat-soaked efforts of the team, their unwavering resolve in the face of adversity, and their ethos of placing friendship above competition lent a vibrant hue to the athletic landscape of the event.

12. Undergraduate Grade A - Volleyball Passing Match

A tiny sphere ignites the passion in every heart on the field; the seamless passing and astonishing mutual intuition take one's breath away; the exquisite recovery from a minor mishap is nothing short of exhilarating. In the semifinals, we eked out a narrow victory with a one-goal margin, and in the final, we won despite a poor start; This time we are the champions!




13. Undergraduate Group A - Football Shooting Competition

The Law School's football shooting competition team was comprised of ten intrepid students, each holding their breath in anticipation of favorable outcomes. This tenacity and collective drive are deeply moving, exemplifying the cohesive and ambitious ethos of the Law School's students.

14. Undergraduate Group A - Collaboration Towards the Future

The Law School team for the Collaboration Towards the Future competition has successfully completed the competition. The team members worked together during the competition, greatly enhancing their teamwork skills and enjoying the joy of working together and growing together.

15. Undergraduate Group A - 20m Frog Jumping Relay Race

At 8:30 a.m., the 20-meter frog jump relay for undergraduate group A commenced without delay. Amidst the fierce competition, 10 of our school's athletes greeted their challengers with unbridled enthusiasm and a combative spirit. They exemplified teamwork with a blend of speed and passion, navigating the race with precision and securing a commendable sixth-place finish.

16. Undergraduate Group A - Men's 200m

At 10:15 in the morning, the men's 200 meter race of undergraduate group A started. Zhou Zhaonan and Liang Shengjie worked hard and rushed towards the starting line with all their might, demonstrating an indomitable spirit of sportsmanship.

17. Undergraduate Group A - Mixed Competition: Planting and Harvesting

This event challenges the balance and coordination of the team members as they alternate between squatting and standing, tasked with the precision of inserting chopsticks into cups on either side while in motion. At the outset, a momentary misstep caused one team member to stumble, yet they promptly regained composure and rejoined the race. Through the collaborative endeavors of the entire team, the competition was adeptly navigated to a successful conclusion.

18. Undergraduate Group A - Men's Shot Put

In the shot put event, Deng Mingyu stood as the standard-bearer for the undergraduate students of the Law School in the men's first division. His technique—lifting, pivoting, and releasing—unfolded with the grace of clouds and the fluidity of water. With a seamless fusion of power and velocity, the shotput traced a smooth arc through the air. His nimble form exemplified the exceptional poise and style of the youthful contingent from the Law School.

19. Undergraduate Group A One-minute Sit Up

The schedule for Day 2 unfolded with precision and discipline. The six girls who signed up for the healthy physical fitness category demonstrated exemplary teamwork, brimming with enthusiasm and delivering a strong performance in the sit-up competition. Their collective effort yielded a commendable seventh-place finish!

20. Undergraduate Group A 36-people Tornado

The team members were arrayed with military precision in a 6x6 formation. As the referee's command sounded, the students in the front row seized the long pole and surged forward in unison. Though their collective experience in the event was limited, causing them to fall slightly behind in the pole-passing phase, the students rallied with a concerted effort. They managed to bridge the gap with their competitors and reached their objective. Their combined spirit and determination earned them a commendable seventh-place finish among the first group of students.

21. Undergraduate Group A - 10-meter Advancing through Exploration

During the 10-meter Advancing through Exploration competition in the afternoon, the students were agile and quickly moved the blocks forward, enjoying the fun of the fun competition to the fullest!

22. Undergraduate Group A - Men's 4x400m Relay

The relay race features a dynamic quartet comprising Wang Zimo, Deng Mingyu, Wang Quanzhi, and Zhou Zhaonan, who seamlessly pass the baton in sequence. United in their efforts, they revel in the competition, harnessing their speed and exuding a fiery passion.

23. Undergraduate Group A - Women's Shot Put

In the shot put competition, Wu Wei and Zhou Xingyan were the formidable representatives of the undergraduate women's contingent from the Law School. Their eyes sparkled with determination, poised and ready for action; at the sound of the command, they launched the shot into a perfect arc. Each stride in their buildup of momentum, each act of resolve, was a pursuit of distance in the aftermath of release. The vibrancy of their youth played a symphony of strength and grace upon the field. In the end, accolades go to Wu Wei for securing seventh place and to Zhou Xingyan for capturing eighth place!

24. Undergraduate Group A - Men's and Women's Mixed Competition: River Dance

In the river dance competition, students were tasked with refining their routines through practice to deepen their comprehension. Despite the challenging conditions of a rain-soaked and slippery performance area, our team triumphed, executing the dance with exceptional prowess and earning resounding cheers and applause for our outstanding achievement!

III. Sports Style of Graduates

1.100-meter final

They form shadows like the wind, running on the field. Every start is a challenge to oneself.

2.800m semifinals

This is a contest of velocity and stamina, a trial of sweat and resolve. They toil and push their boundaries, with every stride brimming with power and determination.

Congratulations to Gu Shengye from the Law School for claiming the top spot in the men's 800-meter race, and to Nie Yue and Ye Yi, also of the Law School, for their impressive finishes in the women's 800-meter race, securing third and sixth places respectively!




3. 30 × 150m ranking run in the semifinals

Side by side, heart to heart, they race towards a shared objective. Though there is no baton to pass, there exists a deeper connection within them—a bond of trust and comprehension.

4. 4 × 100m relay

5. 40-meter ball carrying run

With ball in hand, holding breath and concentrating. There is no relay baton, but when the ball is Maxdod over, there is a tacit and unspoken transmission.

6. 3V3 Basketball Bullfight Preliminary Finals

Dribbling, shooting, striking, guarding—every fluid collaboration is a testament to the team's power and acumen.

12. Team Tai Chi Pre-finals

15. Football shooting

Aim at the goal, adjust the angle, charge up and sprint, kick up and shoot! The football flew accurately into the goal, and thunderous cheers erupted from the sidelines in an instant!

With a firm grasp on the pole, their muscular arms flexed, showcasing sinewy definition and robust physicality. They repeatedly harnessed their strength to pull themselves up, embodying an indomitable spirit and an ascending warrior's stance.

With the gentle caress of the spring zephyr, the 2024 Spring Games of Beijing Normal University concluded successfully on the hallowed grounds of the track and field.

In this athletic showcase, the Law School students have etched their names in history, achieving a string of accolades: the Best Entry Style Award, the Excellence in Physical Health Award, a commendable fourth place in the Graduate Group Team competition, and the prestigious Top Ten Team Performance Award.
