On July 12th, the China Law Society issued the "Decision on Commending the 10th National Outstanding Young Jurist". Professors He Ting and Liao Shiping from the Law School of Beijing Normal University have both been awarded the nomination award in the 10th National Outstanding Young Jurist” election.




The "National Outstanding Young Jurist" award is a significant accolade in the legal domain, established under the auspices of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Organized by the China Law Society, this award has garnered widespread attention and acclaim from the legal profession and various sectors of society across the nation. The purpose of this initiative is to serve as a guiding and inspirational force, to integrate socialist core values into the development of the rule of law, to foster the emergence of exceptional legal talent, and to cultivate a cadre of legal scholars and experts with a steadfast political stance, a solid theoretical foundation, and a deep understanding of China's national context. Since its inception in 1995, this program has successfully completed ten cycles of selection.



After being selected by the selection committee and deliberated by the final evaluation committee, a total of 10 people were awarded the title of "National Outstanding Young Jurist" in this year's "National Outstanding Young Jurist" selection activity, and 20 were awarded the nomination award. Those who have been commended this time are representatives of a large number of outstanding young legal professionals who have emerged in the process of comprehensively promoting the rule of law in the new era, and play an important leading and exemplary role for the vast number of young legal professionals.
