To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, carry forward the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and continuously implement the work arrangements of the central and municipal governments on strengthening the development of socialist legal culture, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission has launched the 11th Excellent Legal Education Works Collection . This initiative, aimed at further promoting the spirit of the Constitution and the rule of law, includes a series of “Learn the Constitution, Promote the Constitution” activities for teachers and students across the city. Faculty and students from the Law School performed strongly in these activities, achieving remarkable results and receiving frequent good news.

1. The 11th Beijing Excellent Legal Education Works Collection

On January 13, 2025, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission announced the list of the 11th Excellent Legal Education Works Collection. After going through a process of unit recommendation/individual self-nomination, expert review, and city-level final review, several works by faculty and students of BNU Law School stood out from 4,284 submissions from faculty and students of various colleges in Beijing, winning 2 first prizes, 4 third prizes, and 1 Outstanding Instructor Award.

2. 2024 Beijing "Learn the Constitution, Promote the Constitution" Series Activities

The Beijing Municipal Education Commission has officially released the roster of winners for the “Learn the Constitution, Promote the Constitution” series. The evaluation mechanism, encompassing unit recommendations, individual self-nominations, expert assessments, and final municipal-level reviews, categorized participants into primary, junior high, senior high, and university groups. First, second, and third prizes were granted in the speech and knowledge contests, complemented by awards for outstanding instructors. Distinguishing themselves in this event, the Law School’s faculty and students delivered an outstanding performance: Shi Feiyan captured the first prize in the speech contest, while Beijing Normal University earned the prestigious Excellent Organization Award.
