Dean Liang Yingxiu remarked that the establishment of the base represents a significant milestone and a concrete step toward implementing Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, in line with the directives of the 20th CPC National Congress. This collaborative model offers BNU law students invaluable opportunities for practical application and provides faculty with direct exposure to judicial proceedings. The Law School is committed to working closely with the Shangqiu Procuratorate through regular communication mechanisms to build a benchmark project for school-procuratorate partnerships. By drawing on its academic strengths, the school aims to provide intellectual support for theoretical and practical advancements in procuratorial work to the mutual benefit of both institutions.

Chief Procurator Wang Jianbo warmly welcomed Dean Liang and the delegation. He noted that the unveiling marks both a consolidation of past efforts and the beginning of a new chapter in their partnership. He expressed hope that the base will serve as a vital platform for integrating legal education with judicial practice, facilitating the exchange of theory and practice, and cultivating well-rounded legal professionals. By further improving communication, enhancing mutual trust, and innovating collaboration models, both sides can make meaningful contributions to the rule of law in Shangqiu.

The ceremony was also attended by BNU faculty members Wang Chao (Director of the Institute of Evidence Law), Huang Xiaoliang, Liu Ke, and Meng Jun, along with Hainan University Professor Liu Daoyuan and the full leadership team of the Shangqiu Procuratorate.
