On January 8, the Sixth Beijing Normal University Global Young Scholars Forum Law School Sub-Forum was successfully held, with over twenty outstanding young scholars from well-known universities at home and abroad participating in this forum. Professor Chai Rong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School at Beijing Normal University; Professor Liang Yingxiu, Dean; Professor Yin Jianfeng, Vice Dean; Professor Yuan Zhijie, Vice Dean; Professor He Dan, Vice Dean; Professor Liu Peifeng, Director of the Constitutional and Administrative Law Research Center, and Professor Xing Gang, Director of the International Law Research Center served as panel judges. The sub-forum was conducted in a hybrid format, combining online and offline participation, and was chaired by Professor Yin Jianfeng.

Speaking on behalf of the Law School at the opening ceremony, Dean Liang Yingxiu extended a warm welcome to all attending young scholars. He provided a brief overview of the achievements of the BNU Law discipline across academic research, faculty development, international and domestic partnerships, and social service. Emphasizing that young scholars are vital to the growth of the faculty, he noted that the School attached great importance to recruiting and nurturing young talent. He expressed his hope that the forum would serve to strengthen connections with these scholars, ultimately attracting promising academics committed to legal education and research to join the Law School.

The forum was divided into two sessions spanning various research fields, including constitutional law, administrative law, civil and commercial law, economic law, social law, and international law. The scholars delivered innovative and insightful thematic reports, exploring issues such as the copyright dilemmas of AI-generated content, the application logic and risk regulation of financial large models, and the protection of labor rights and employment on digital platforms. These presentations fully reflected the scholars’ deep engagement with contemporary social issues and their rigorous attention into cutting-edge issues within the discipline. Following the reports, the panel judges engaged in dynamic and in-depth discussions with the speakers, during which the participating scholars demonstrated strong research capabilities and significant potential for future development.
