On December 19, the follow-up exchange symposium with the leadership team of Xiananzhuang Village, Mujiayu Town, Miyun District, was successfully held in the Gao Mingxuan Lecture Hall of the Rear Main Building at Beijing Normal University. Deng Xiaojiang, Party Branch Secretary of Xiananzhuang Village, led the village delegation in in-depth discussions with the Law School, reviewing the achievements of the university's support work and exploring new chapters in village-school cooperation. Attendees included Liang Yingxiu, Dean of the Law School; Zheng Yanpu, Party Secretary; Guo Yating, Vice Dean; Li Shanhe, Associate Professor and First Secretary of Xiananzhuang Village; and Yan Houfu, Associate Professor and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Law School.

At the outset, Dean Liang Yingxiu extended a warm welcome to the Xiananzhuang delegation and systematically introduced the development history and core advantages of the Law School of Beijing Normal University from multiple dimensions, including the School's historical evolution, disciplinary characteristics, faculty strength, and talent cultivation system.
Party Secretary Zheng Yanpu reiterated the School’s unwavering commitment to village assistance, highly commending the effectiveness of Li Shanhe’s tenure. Emphasizing that resident cadres serve as the vital link between the university and the rural frontline, Zheng stated that serving grassroots legal governance and rural revitalization is a cornerstone of the School’s social service mission. He expressed hope that this visit would further expand the "circle of friends" in village-university cooperation.

Vice Dean Guo Yating and Associate Professor Yan Houfu also shared reflections based on their grassroots experiences, acknowledging the dedication and challenges faced by resident cadres. They pledged to deepen party-building ties through joint themed activities and volunteer services.
Li Shanhe, the First Secretary, shared insights from his time in the village. Describing himself as a "witness" to the work of the village committees, he expressed deep gratitude for the trust placed in him. "The villagers of Xiananzhuang now treat me like family," Li said. "This is not only a personal affirmation but also a recognition of BNU Law School's support for party building." He added that the spirit and resources from the college gave him the confidence to put down roots in the village..

Subsequently, Party Branch Secretary Deng Xiaojiang introduced the village's basic situation and the progress made since the commencement of the residency program. He expressed profound gratitude for the Law School's support, particularly following the recent flood disaster. Deng highlighted how Professor Li remained on the flood relief frontline for over ten consecutive days and how faculty members rushed to the village with supplies, providing both material and spiritual sustenance for post-disaster reconstruction. Acknowledging that BNU has successively sent faculty members Huang Zhenzhong and Li Shanhe to serve as First Secretaries, Deng expressed hope that this bond would continue to grow stronger and more enduring.

To conclude the exchange, the Xiananzhuang Village Party Committee presented a banner to the Law School, which Secretary Zheng accepted on behalf of the college. The bright red banner, bearing the inscription "Bound by Partnership, United by Care," vividly encapsulates the deep connection between the two parties.

Following the meeting, the village delegation visited the History Museum of Beijing Normal University to gain a deeper understanding of the university's heritage and educational philosophy, laying a solid emotional and cognitive foundation for future collaboration.

This follow-up visit served not only as a review of phased assistance efforts but also as a new starting point for deepening village-school cooperation. Moving forward, the BNU Law School remains committed to empowering rural revitalization with the strength of the rule of law and intellectual resources, further strengthening the enduring bond between the village and the university.
