Professor Zheng Yanpu and Associate Professor Zhao Chenguang Invited to Attend the APEC “Integrity for Prosperity” Symposium

On June 9–10, 2026, the National Supervisory Commission of the People’s Republic of China and the Independent Commission Against Corruption of Hong Kong jointly hosted the APEC “Integrity for Prosperity” Symposium in Hong Kong. More than 150 representatives from APEC member economies, international organizations, and institutions attended the event. Professor Zheng Yanpu, Party Committee Secretary of the School of Law at Beijing Normal University and Director of the G20 Research Center on Anti-Corruption, Fugitive Recovery, and Asset Recovery, and Dr. Zhao Chenguang, Associate Professor at the School of Law of Beijing Normal University and Deputy Director of the G20 Research Center on Anti-Corruption, Fugitive Recovery, and Asset Recovery, were invited to attend the seminar as representatives of the academic community.

The seminar featured three thematic sessions focusing on “Strengthening Integrity to Create a Better Life,” “Building a Robust and Integrity Financial System” and “Promoting Integrity Cross-Border Investment and Trade,” respectively. Participants explored how integrity can build trust, optimize the business environment, and promote equitable development.

During the symposium, Professor Zheng Yanpu and Associate Professor Zhao Chenguang participated in all agenda items and engaged in in-depth exchanges with attending delegates. This event further strengthened communication and ties between the School of Law at Beijing Normal University, the G20 Anti-Corruption and Asset Recovery Research Center, and relevant international organizations, as well as experts and scholars from various fields.
