On the afternoon of September 14, the Law School of Beijing Normal University convened a meeting for the parents of its 2025 undergraduate freshmen. The meeting was attended by Vice Dean He Dan, Deputy Party Secretary Guo Yating, Class Advisor Yang Lin, Undergraduate Academic Affairs Secretary Zhong Lili, and nearly 50 parents.

The session began with a warm welcome from Vice Dean He Dan, who expressed her gratitude to the parents for their trust in the school. Following her opening remarks, Deputy Party Secretary Guo Yating provided a comprehensive overview of student affairs. She detailed the school's approach to daily student management, ideological and political education, and the financial aid and scholarship systems. Her presentation also covered essential topics such as fostering a sound perspective on career development, supporting students' physical and mental well-being, and guiding them through career planning.

Class Advisor Yang Lin then outlined his philosophy and goals for class management. He assured parents of his commitment to dedicating the necessary time and effort to ensure students have a fulfilling, enjoyable, and healthy university experience. Vice Dean He Dan returned to provide a detailed presentation on the history, distinctive features, faculty excellence, and talent cultivation system of the Law discipline at the university. He expressed his hope that through home-school collaboration, students would successfully transition from "passive learning" to "independent exploration."

The meeting concluded successfully, having provided parents with a deeper understanding of the school and the Law School's specific programs. By addressing parental inquiries and establishing a foundation for open communication, the event laid the groundwork for a collaborative partnership dedicated to promoting the growth and success of every student.
