Some Internship Photos

After the internship, some students shared their internship reflections as follows:

During my internship, I had the privilege of being involved in over 100 case filings. I engaged in communicating with the parties, meticulously gathering and conveying their information based on case files, drafting mediation agreements, rulings, and other legal documents, and ensuring the accuracy of judgments by reviewing evidence. I also participated in the verification and archiving of case files, encompassing the full spectrum of case management. Throughout these months, I learned invaluable lessons from judges, cases, and personal experiences. I gained a comprehensive understanding of the handling of minor civil claims and expedited procedures in grassroots courts. Alongside practical experience, I was fortunate to find remarkable mentors and friends, enriching my journey greatly. Moving forward, I will leverage this precious internship experience to enhance my practical skills continually and strive to fulfill the role and responsibilities of the youth in this new era.

——Liu Yuqing, a Master’s student of Class of 2022

My internship at the Xicheng District People's Court was an exceptionally unique and valuable experience for me. As my first foray into interning at a court, every aspect was unfamiliar and exciting. I vividly recall my progression from navigating the intranet system with trepidation to adeptly organizing case files; from struggling with printing documents and scanning files to mastering the system and memorizing the layout of the first and second floors. During my time here, I not only learned the precise sequence of case handling in grassroots courts but also absorbed the standards and requirements for drafting basic legal documents. I had the honor of assisting judges in drafting judgments for simple cases and attended public trials in the criminal division. In just one month, I acquired a wealth of practical knowledge that extends beyond what textbooks can offer. My mentor, Judge Jiao, was always patient and generous with his advice and guidance, enabling me to learn and grow throughout this period. No matter where my future takes me, I will carry this invaluable experience with me, continue to strive for excellence, explore new horizons, and dedication in my work.
