On June 2, 2024, the Sixth League Members and Student Representatives Conference of the Law School of Beijing Normal University was officially held in Room 502 of Teaching Building 9. The Conference was divided into a preparatory meeting and a formal meeting, and was chaired by Xu Ningzhi.

In the first session of the meeting, the chair reported the number of people attending the meeting, announced the opening of the meeting, and everyone stood up to sing the National Anthem of the People's Republic of China.
The second session of the meeting was to introduce the guests attending the preparatory meeting.
The third session of the meeting was to listen to and review the work report by the Preparatory Group for the Sixth League Members and Student Representatives Conference of the Law School of Beijing Normal University. Speaker: Qiang Shiyan.
The fourth session of the meeting was to listen to and review the representative qualification review report for the Sixth League Members and Student Representatives Conference of the Law School of Beijing Normal University. Cheng Delin gave a detailed explanation of the procedures for the selection of representatives and the criteria for examining the qualifications of representatives, and submitted them to the Conference for deliberation.
The fifth session of the meeting was to listen to and review the draft election procedures for the Sixth League Members and Student Representatives Conference of the Law School of Beijing Normal University, and the list of chief ballot supervisors, ballot supervisors, and vote counters; listen to and review the list of candidates for the 18th Committee of the Communist Youth League of the Law School of Beijing Normal University, the 19th Student Union Presidium, and the 13th Graduate Student Union Presidium. He Ruiwen read out the election rules and the list names.
The sixth session of the meeting was to listen to and review the work report on proposals submitted by representatives of the Sixth League Members and Student Representatives Conference of the Law School of Beijing Normal University. Speaker: Bao Zhuoying.
The representatives voted on various items of the preparatory meeting. The number of representatives who agreed with the above report exceeded two-thirds of the actual number of representatives present at the meeting, and it was passed.

The chair reported that the actual attendance number was 134, which met the legal quorum, and the Conference opened. All participants stood up and sang the National Anthem of the People's Republic of China.
Session 2
Introduce the guests attending the preparatory meeting. Guests attending the Conference included An Lili, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of Beijing Normal University, Chai Rong, secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, Guo Yating, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, Zhao Shuang, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Faculty of Education, Huang Jiayi, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Marxism, Xi Qi, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Artificial Intelligence, Yuan Ying, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Journalism and Communication, Chen Xuanyu, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Law School, Qi Shufeng, student affairs secretary of the Law School, Lian Jie and Wang Haoyue, student affairs assistants of the Law School, Wu Hailu, member of the presidium of the Student Union of Beijing Normal University, Hu Yuxuan, member of the presidium of the Graduate Association of Beijing Normal University, as well as deputy secretaries of the Youth League Committee, presidium members of the Student Union and the Graduate Student Union from various schools and departments.
Session 3: Speeches by guests
An Lili, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of Beijing Normal University, first expressed her warm congratulations on the convening of the Conference. She summarized the many honors that the Youth League Committee of the Law School had won in the past year with the spirit of "keeping pace with the times and forging ahead with determination". She hoped that students would seriously learn the important message delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping on the May 4th Youth Day. She also expressed her hope that students in the Youth League and Student Union organization could strive to become student leaders with ideals, courage and perseverance, and actively and deeply integrate into the University's ideological and political work. Finally, she wished the Conference a complete success!
Chai Rong, secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, summarized the work achievements of the Youth League and Student Union organization of the Law School in the past year, and hoped that the next Youth League and Student Union organization would continue to play a leading role, serve the construction of the Law School and the development of students, hone their character, move forward courageously, and help the Law School write a new brilliant chapter.
Wu Hailu, member of the presidium of the Student Union of Beijing Normal University, fully affirmed that the Law School has always adhered to the purpose and concept of serving students wholeheartedly and carried out a series of distinctive student activities. Wu also hoped that the student cadres of the Law School could work together in the future to achieve greater success.
Hu Yuxuan, member of the presidium of the Graduate Association of Beijing Normal University, reviewed the work of the Graduate Student Association of the Law School in the past year, thanked it for its hard work and strong support for the work of the Graduate Student Union of Beijing Normal University in the past year, and expressed earnest expectations and best wishes for the new Graduate Student Association of the Law School.
Session 4
Listen to and review the work report of the 17th Committee of the Communist Youth League of the Law School of Beijing Normal University. Wang Xiaoling summarized the work of the Youth League Committee in the past school year and gave a detailed report on organizational construction, ideological guidance, community management, social practice and volunteer service. Wang demonstrated the fruitful results achieved by the Youth League Committee in the past year and expressed expectations and wishes for the work of the next deputy secretary and members.
Session 5
Listen to and review the work report of the 18th Student Union of the Law School of Beijing Normal University. Xu Chujie reported on four aspects: improving system construction, focusing on peer guidance, safeguarding students' rights and interests, and focusing on the main line of publicity, showing the vigorous vitality of the Student Union of the Law School in making continuous progress while further deepening reforms.
Session 6
Listen to and review the work report of the 12th Graduate Student Union of the Law School of Beijing Normal University. Bao Zhuoying summarized the important role played by the Graduate Student Union of the Law School in the past year in ideological guidance, protection of rights and interests, professional guidance, job hunting, and the development of culture and sports. Bao also said that she would bear in mind the message delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping to young people on the May 4th Youth Day, and strive to be a good young person in the new era who has ideals, dare to take responsibility, can endure hardships, and are willing to work hard.
Afterwards, the representatives reviewed, voted and passed the work report of the 17th Committee of the Communist Youth League of the Law School of Beijing Normal University, the work report of the 18th Student Union of the Law School of Beijing Normal University, and the work report of the 12th Graduate Student Union of the Law School of Beijing Normal University in the form of raising their hands.
Session 7
The members of the 18th Committee of the Communist Youth League of the Law School of Beijing Normal University were elected. The election process was exciting. Every candidate threw himself into the campaign speech with great enthusiasm, answered questions with quick thinking and demonstrated their personal talent.
Election of Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee
Zhang Zhuoyuan elaborated on her future work prospects as deputy secretary from two aspects: the overall work plan and the partial work plan. She believed that the deputy secretary should have strong overall planning capabilities, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to integrate into the masses' thoughts and consciousness, pay timely attention to various special situations in the course of work, and complete all tasks efficiently and with high quality.
Shi Xinran introduced his/her ideas for the overall work of the Youth League Committee, which aimed to expand the influence of the Youth League Committee based on the continuous optimization of the Lecture Group. The departmental cooperation and assessment mechanism can serve as an opportunity to strengthen the cohesion of the Youth League Committee. It is necessary to make the Youth League Committee lively and activities richer and help members grow faster.
Wang Zhitong elaborated on the work plan for the coming year from two aspects: innovating working methods and expanding work areas. On the one hand, it is necessary to explore a working method that combines online and offline work to improve the coverage and influence of the Youth League Committee's work. Wang encouraged students to participate in the planning and organization of the Youth League Committee's work, and guide League members to establish correct concepts. On the other hand, it is necessary to strengthen the construction of all-media platforms, build a solid online publicity platform for the Law School, intensify publicity skills training, and cultivate publicity backbones for the Youth League Committee.
Mei Xiaoyu believed that in the overall work planning of the Youth League Committee of the Law School, it is necessary to first strengthen organizational construction and promote the integration of the Youth League, the University and the Research Institute. Secondly, it is necessary to strengthen team building and adhere to the principle of "specializing in specific tasks and assigning specific people to specific tasks"; Finally, we must have plans beforehand, rules during the process, and reviews afterward. He also expressed his vision for the specific work of each department, hoping to work with everyone in the future to continue the glory and win still greater success.
