Be diligent in learning, thinking and practicing, and devote the youth to the cause of the rule of law. Throughout my internship, I executed all assigned tasks with precision and care, seizing every opportunity in daily work to study diligently and broadly. I actively engaged with core responsibilities to hone my practical skills, leveraging my professional strengths to deeply involve myself in the fundamental theoretical research within the case department of the research office. This led to the creation of a comprehensive literature review, encompassing nearly 20,000 words on similar case retrieval and related research reports. I participated in the operation and maintenance of the newly established People's Court case database, processing over 50 cases, reviewing more than 600 pages of manuscripts, and studying and proofreading over 800 cases. I completed three case database study reports and managed public opinion feedback for the People's Court case database. Additionally, I conducted case searches in the Gazette of the Supreme People's Court, contributed to the response to proposals and suggestions from this year's National People's Congress deputies and CPPCC members, and assisted with daily administrative tasks. In terms of political development, I engaged in the Supreme People's Court Judges Forum, the Youth Learning Model Symposium and Exchange Meeting, the Party Discipline Learning and Education Special Tutorial Report Meeting, and the July 1st Party Founding Day Commendation Conference, among others, to strengthen my ideological character and solidify my political stance. Moving forward, I will persist in upholding the torch of the rule of law ideal, reinforcing my convictions, and working diligently. I will integrate my individual aspirations into the nation's journey toward legal modernization, contributing my youthful energies to China's advancement in the rule of law and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. I am committed to continued struggle, relentless effort, and an unwavering fight for the cause of the rule of law!

Who interned at the Second Criminal Tribunal of the Supreme People's Court

Throughout the internship, I engaged in party construction, political theory study, and business learning initiatives; contributed to the drafting of judicial interpretations, conducted extensive research on foreign laws and regulations from over 30 countries, and authored pertinent papers; attended the 33rd session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ), taking charge of recording and post-meeting organizational tasks. Moreover, I immersed myself in trial practice, absorbed the case-handling perspectives of judges, and diligently managed comprehensive administrative duties. Over these four months, I approached every task with the mindset of "maximizing my efforts," actively learning from the front-line judges and role models around me. While participating in trial work, I reflected on how the legal theories from textbooks could be integrated and advanced within the intricate realm of judicial practice. Looking ahead, I am committed to working diligently, striving for excellence, and growing into a legal professional with unwavering ideals and beliefs, a strong sense of patriotism, and a robust legal foundation. I aim to contribute my strengths to the establishment of the rule of law in China's new era.

In January 2024, the Supreme People's Court welcomed its fourteenth batch of legal interns. The Law School at Beijing Normal University placed significant emphasis on this initiative and meticulously identified and nominated intern candidates following a rigorous selection process. During the internship, our students adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, deeply studied and implemented Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law, and under the dual guidance of the People's Court and the school, actively participated in trial assistance, judicial research and comprehensive administration, and completed various work tasks well. Their ideological and political character was significantly bolstered; their proficiency in judicial practice was markedly enhanced; their work ethic was finely honed; and they dedicated their youthful vitality to the advancement of the nation's legal framework.
