In April 2024, each Youth League branch of the Law School held a recommendation meeting to select outstanding league members as active candidates for Party membership.

2022 Undergraduate Class 1

At 18:30 on the evening of April 15, 2024, under the organization of the Youth League Branch of 2022 Undergraduate Class 1 of the Law School, the Party recommendation meeting for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year was successfully held. The meeting was chaired by the publicity committee member Liu Jiaxin. 50 members were supposed to be present, but 40 actually attended the meeting, which met the requirements for holding a recommendation meeting.

Part 2: The recommended candidates introducing their basic information

There were a total of 7 candidates participating in the recommendation meeting. Based on their own experiences, the candidates reported one by one on their motivations for joining the Party, their studies and work, ideological and theoretical learning, and volunteer services. The students gave self-evaluations with excitement and introduced their performance in the past year, which fully demonstrated to us the positive, dedicated and responsible youthful spirit of contemporary college students.

Part 3: League members voting on the recommended candidates

In order to ensure that the voting was fair, just, transparent and open, the organization committee member Yang Xiaoran served as the statistician of the meeting. He used the Wenwenxing platform to count the votes and made sure that each person could only vote once.

After voting by all the League members present, it was finally decided that Tang Jiayu, Si Na, Xie Huiwen, Zhang Zhuyang, Gao Jinwen, Jiang Jiawei and Liu Xinyi became active candidates for Party membership.

2022 Undergraduate Class 2

On the evening of April 12, the Youth League branch of 2022 Undergraduate Class 2 of the Law School held the meeting for the spring semester of 2024 to recommend outstanding members to join the Party. The recommendation meeting was chaired by Yue Ruhan, secretary of the Youth League branch of 2022 Undergraduate Class 2. There were 47 members in the Branch, who were supposed to attend the meeting, but 36 were actually present, meeting the conditions for holding a recommendation meeting. In addition to the League members of the class, Wang Siyu, the organization committee member of the First Party Branch for Undergraduates, and Zhang Xinyi, the secretary of the Organization Department of the Youth League Committee, were also present as vote monitors.

The Party recommendation meeting officially began with the melody of the Communist Youth League anthem. The recommendation meeting consisted of five parts: studying the recommendation conditions, introducing the basic information of the recommended candidates, self-introduction of the recommended candidates, evaluation of the recommended candidates by student representatives and the Youth League branch, voting for the recommended candidates by League members, and announcement of the results. Liu Xiao, the organization committee member of the Youth League branch, read out and taught all the members the conditions for recommendation for joining the Party, and Yue Ruhan, the secretary of the Youth League branch, introduced the basic information of the recommended candidates.

The Organization Department adopted the self-registration method and finally determined five students, Zhou Minkun, Cai Zhihan, Lu Meilun, Si Yi, and Li Baoyi, as candidates for joining the Party. All five candidates gave a three-minute self-introduction and presentation.

After the recommended candidates finished their self-introduction session, the League members present asked questions related to the candidates' self-introduction and made relevant comments. Du Chaoyang, the disciplinary committee member of the Youth League branch, prepared a public opinion voting questionnaire, and all the League members present conducted a public opinion vote on the 10 candidates. Finally, based on the 10 candidates' academic performance in the Youth League School, volunteer services, and the public opinion evaluation of the Youth League branch, five candidates, Zhou Minkun, Cai Zhihan, Lu Meilun, Si Yi, and Li Baoyi, were selected out for recommendation.

2023 Undergraduate Class 1

The 2023 Undergraduate Class 1 Youth League Branch Recommendation Meeting was held on time at 8:30 p.m. on April 12, 2024 in Room 1822 of the Rear Main Building. There were 52 League members who were supposed to attend the meeting, but 37 members were actually present. The meeting was chaired by the secretary of the Youth League branch Cong Muhan, and Xu Ting, secretary of the First Undergraduate Party Branch of the Law School, and Mei Xiaoyu, secretary of the Organization Department of the Youth League Committee of the Law School, were present to monitor the voting.

After the Youth League anthem was played, the meeting officially began. In the first session, the organization committee member Cai Xuxin led everyone to study the "Implementation Measures for Recommending Outstanding Students to Join the Party in the Law School". A total of 14 students became candidates for recommendation at the recommendation meeting. The second session was for the introduction to the basic information of the recommended candidates. In the third session, the League members voted on the candidates for recommendation. After the democratic vote, the Youth League branch committee checked the scores and came up with the final total score. The fourth session was to announce the final recommendation results. Based on the comprehensive scores, the following 10 students were elected as active candidates for Party membership: Li Hanyu, Tan Yinghui, Yan Fangfei, Zhang Jiayi, Song Jie, Li Zhiheng, Xie Duanjie, Zheng Yuexi, Cong Muhan, and Xu Xingtong.

2023 Undergraduate Class 2

The Youth League Branch of 2023 Zhuoyue Class 2 of the Law School organized a recommendation meeting for active candidates for Party membership in Room 1822 of the Rear Main Building on April 14, 2024. The meeting was chaired by the secretary of Youth League branch Li Yifei. There were 48 members who were supposed to attend the meeting, and 32 members were actually present.

At the beginning of the meeting, the students first sang the Youth League anthem together to express their love for the Communist Youth League of China and the Chinese revolutionary cause. After the singing session, Li Yifei introduced the process of the meeting to everyone. The Party recommendation meeting was divided into five parts, namely, studying the conditions for recommendation, introducing the basic information of the recommended candidates, student representatives and the Youth League branch evaluating the recommended candidates, League members voting on the recommended candidates, and announcing the voting results and the final recommendation results. Afterwards, Li Yifei read out the Law School Youth League Branch's recommendation method for joining the Party and led the students to study the conditions for recommendation for joining the Party.

The candidates for the meeting introduced themselves one by one. After the candidates made their self-introductions, the organization committee member of the Youth League branch Qiu Ziting conducted on-site scoring and announced the results of the recommendation. The following nine students were successfully selected as active candidates for Party membership: Yang Ziyi, Qiu Ziting, Li Ruiyuan, Cao Tongyu, Zheng Xiyang, Liu Zixuan, Li Xinlei, Gou Yiman, and Zheng Yuehan.

2023 JM Class 2

At 1:30 p.m. on April 13, 2024, under the organization of the Youth League Branch Committee of 2023 JM Class 2, the Party recommendation meeting was successfully held in Room 1822 of the Rear Main Building. Li Jinze, member of the Organization Department of the Youth League Committee, attended the meeting as a vote counter and the meeting was chaired by the secretary of Youth League branch Mei Xiaoyu.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mei Xiaoyu briefly introduced the specific aspects of the recommendation meeting, gave mobilization for the meeting and read out the specific recommendation conditions to the students. Afterwards, the three candidates reported one by one on their motivations for joining the Party, their studies and work, ideological and theoretical learning, and volunteer services based on their own experiences.

In order to ensure that the voting was fair, just, transparent and open, Wang Yun, the discipline committee member of the Youth League branch, served as the statistician of the meeting and used the Wenwenxing platform to count the votes. After voting by all the League members present, it was finally decided that Huang Siyu, Cao Yuancheng and Shi Bohan became active candidates for Party membership.

2023 JM Class 3

On the afternoon of April 12, 2024, the Youth League branch of 2023 JM Class 3 held a Youth League branch recommendation meeting for the spring semester of the 2023-2024 school year in Meeting Room 1922 of the Rear Main Building. A total of 33 members attended the recommendation meeting, and the meeting was conducted strictly in accordance with the recommendation scope, recommendation conditions and recommendation procedures to ensure fairness, openness and impartiality.

At the beginning of the meeting, the secretary of Youth League branch Wu Suriguga delivered an opening speech, introduced the purpose and objectives of the recommendation meeting, and gave a detailed introduction to the recommendation work procedures.

The first session of the meeting was for everyone to stand up and sing the anthem of the Communist Youth League of China. The second session of the meeting was a reading of the "Implementation Measures for Recommending Outstanding Students to Join the Party in the Law School" by Wang Shuaijie, the discipline committee member of the Youth League branch. The third session of the meeting was for the candidates to make self-evaluations. Each candidate took the stage in turn and, through oral reports, comprehensively demonstrated to the participants their studies, thoughts, student work and social practice achievements.

The fourth session of the meeting was for student representatives and the Youth League branch to evaluate the candidates for recommendation. The fifth session of the meeting was the voting phase, where members of the Youth League branch scanned the QR code on the PPT to vote for the qualifications of the three candidates.

Finally, the voting results were announced on the spot, and it was announced that three outstanding League members, Zhang Siqi, Yu Junze, and Yang Changzhe, became active candidates for Party membership.

The successful holding of the recommendation meeting not only provided fresh blood for the Party organization to cultivate reserve forces, but also further enhanced the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the Youth League branch. The members of the Youth League branch will take outstanding League members as examples, constantly improve their own quality, and contribute their youthful strength to realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The Youth League branch will also take the recommendation meeting as an opportunity to further strengthen its construction and push all work to a new level. At the same time, we also hope that League members can cherish the honor, make persistent efforts, devote themselves to study and work with greater enthusiasm and firmer conviction, and work hard to achieve the various goals and tasks of the League organization.
