The 43rd Session of the BNU Anti-corruption Lecture Series Titled "Several Issues Concerning the Determination of Bribery Crimes" Was Successfully Held

On October 16, 2024, the 43rd session of the BNU Anti-corruption Lecture Series was successfully held at Beijing Normal University. The lecture was given by Jiang Wei, Vice President of the China Law Society, President of the Network and Information Law Society of the China Law Society, Vice Director of the Advisory Committee of the Supreme People's Court, and a renowned criminal law expert. The topic was "Several Issues Concerning the Determination of Bribery Crimes". The lecture was hosted by Professor Wang Xiumei from the Law School of Beijing Normal University. More than 80 teachers and students, including Professor Liang Yingxiu, Dean of the Law School of Beijing Normal University, Professor Yin Jianfeng, Vice Dean of the Law School, Professor Zhang Lei, Professor Huang Xiaoliang, Associate Professor Shang Haowen, Associate Professor Zhao Chengguang, Associate Professor Yang Chao, and Professor Li Di, attended the lecture.




Professor Wang Xiumei began by extending her heartfelt thanks to President Jiang Wei for delivering this insightful lecture, highlighting his extensive professional background and laudable accomplishments in the domain of bribery crimes. She encouraged the students to engage in rigorous study, to think critically, and to develop their own perspectives on the complex matters pertaining to the identification of bribery crime.
