The selection committee for the Fifth Fangde Rule of Law Research Award has officially announced the results of its recent evaluation. Following a rigorous selection process, the committee conferred one Special Award, seven First Prizes, fifteen Second Prizes, and thirty Third Prizes to recognize outstanding contributions to legal scholarship.

Among the distinguished recipients were scholars from our institution. Professor Zhao Bingzhi was awarded a Third Prize for his work,The Independent Theory of Criminal Law in New China: A Special Study on the Academic Thoughts of 'People's Educator' Professor Gao Mingxuan. Associate Professor Guo Ye also received a Third Prize for her study,The Logical Structure and Development of the Concept of Legal Modernization in China.

The Fangde Rule of Law Research Award is a prestigious national accolade established by the China Institute of Rule of Law Modernization with the support of the Jiangsu Fangde Legal Research Center. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, the award is dedicated to fostering academic innovation, promoting practice in rule of law, and advancing the modernization of China's rule of law system.
