On October 14th , Former Minister of Italian Justice Department and Vice President of Italian LUISS University Paola Severino made a speech on strategy and means towards combating transnational organized crime. The speech was hosted by vice dean of law school Zhang Hong, Dean of law school Prof. Zhao Bingzhi, associate professor Hu Junhong, GuoJing and some students attended the lecture.
Prof. Paola Severino made a detailed introduction to Palermo Convention which exerts a great influence on strategy and means towards combating transnational organized crime. Students had a better understanding of it through her speech.
At last, on behalf of law school and College for criminal law and science Prof. Zhao Bingzhi warmly welcomed and gave gifts to Prof. Paola Severino.
