In order to further promote the benign interaction and win-win development of legal theory and judicial practice, and speed up the training of first-class legal research and legal application talents, on the morning of December 3rd, 2021, our institute and Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone People's Court formally signed an exchange and cooperation agreement, which was signed by Wu Youbin, a member of the Qianhai Court Party Group and vice president of our institute, and Yuan Zhijie, vice president of our institute. After the signing ceremony, Bian Fei, president of Qianhai Court, exchanged views with teachers of our college on topics of mutual interest. Xie Kailiang, deputy director of comprehensive office of Qianhai Court, Xu Daiyin, deputy director of comprehensive office and other court staff attended the signing ceremony. Teacher Niu Zihan, teacher Li Xiaoxiao, academic secretary Yang Zhuoying and 20 student representatives of our college attended the ceremony and visited Qianhai Court together.
Before the signing ceremony, I first watched the work report film of Qianhai Court, and got a basic understanding of the work carried out by Qianhai Court in recent years and the achievements made by Qianhai Court in promoting the construction of the rule of law demonstration zone with high standards. Later, Wu Youbin, a member of the party group and vice president of Qianhai Court, delivered a speech. He briefly introduced the development history and organization of Qianhai Court to teachers and students of law school, and mentioned that promoting the deep integration of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao is inseparable from strong judicial guarantee. The "small step" of Qianhai Justice is a "big step" for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's business environment to be in line with international standards. Since its establishment on January 28th, 2015, Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone People's Court, based on its location advantages and trial functions, has actively served to safeguard the overall situation of national development, improved the judicial mechanism concerning foreign affairs, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and improved the judicial exchange and cooperation mechanism with high-level, modern and international judicial reform measures, and made every effort to build a benchmark court, providing "international" judicial assistance for the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the first demonstration zone. He attached great importance to establishing close academic exchanges with Beijing Normal University Law School, and suggested further strengthening the joint research with Beijing Normal University Law School in the future, building a cross-border legal talent exchange platform, exploring new ways to strengthen the innovation of the rule of law system.
Then, Yuan Zhijie, vice president of Beijing Normal University Law School, gave a speech. He felt honored to visit Qianhai Court again and expressed his gratitude. Then, he introduced the history of Beijing Normal University Law School, personnel training and related personnel introduction to the leaders and staff of Qianhai Court. At the same time, it introduces the basic situation of Beijing Normal University Law School, in order to further implement the "one body, two wings" school-running pattern, give full play to the advantages of Beijing Normal University's law discipline, take discipline construction as the leader, and improve the training quality as the fundamental goal, vigorously strengthen the discipline and personnel training construction, and steadily promote the student training work in Zhuhai campus. He said that under the background of comprehensively promoting the strategy of ruling the country by law in the new era, the cross-domain legal talent training in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has become an important part of the construction of foreign-related legal talent team. Constructing the cross-domain training mode of legal talents in Greater Bay Area will help to provide a steady stream of legal wisdom for the construction of Greater Bay Area and deepen cooperation in Greater Bay Area. Under the background of "one country, two systems", there are bottlenecks in Greater Bay Area, such as various legal systems, complicated language environment, inconsistent entry barriers for legal services, and shortage of cross-border legal talents in Greater Bay Area. I hope that in the future, we will further cooperate with Qianhai Court in all directions, set up a contact mechanism, and jointly build a legal talent training mode based on the cross-border legal profession docking mechanism with the cooperation of professional practical experience, so as to cultivate high-level compound and practical legal talents.
Subsequently, the two sides formally signed an agreement on exchange and cooperation. Qianhai Court and Beijing Normal University Law School will jointly build a teaching and research base, conduct in-depth exchanges and cooperation in legal theory, trial practice and personnel training, and establish mechanisms such as academic exchanges, research projects, education and training, and judicial resource sharing.
After that, under the guidance and explanation of the staff, teachers and students of our college visited the litigation service center and diversified dispute resolution center of Qianhai Court, and learned in detail about the work of Qianhai Court in improving the modern litigation service system and diversified international commercial dispute resolution mechanism.
The staff distributed pocket books on the Constitution and pamphlets on the popularization of the Civil Code to the students, and the students studied and read them carefully.
Teachers and students of our college also visited the Science and Technology Court of Qianhai Court under the guidance of court staff. High-tech court trial tools such as intelligent speech recognition technology, electronic signature board, left-to-right-to-write split-screen software opened students eyes, and everyone praised the application of intelligent speech recognition system.
The signing ceremony and visiting activities were successfully concluded. Through this activity, teachers and students learned about the development process of Qianhai Court, court work, judicial reform effectiveness, etc., and felt the judicial openness from a distance. The College looks forward to continuing and deepening cooperation with Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone People's Court to build a platform for training first-class legal research and legal application talents.
