Professor Xue Hong deeply analyzed the court judgment of Google v. Oracle Bone Inscriptions copyright infringement case from the perspective of Chinese copyright law and American law. The focus of the case is whether the application user interface is copyrightable and whether Google's behavior constitutes a reasonable use. As a civil law system, China's laws have different provisions. Professor Xue discussed the influence of technological progress on the copyright legal system from the perspective of comparative law.
Professor Gustav Ghedini first affirmed the great strength of China's economic and technological development, and said that the economic take-off was accompanied by the development of science and technology. Artificial intelligence is ubiquitous and has penetrated into every aspect of our daily life. Professor Gustav Ghedini introduced the application of artificial intelligence technology in detail from many aspects such as social life and practical examples. China, the United States, the European Union and other countries attach great importance to the development of artificial intelligence technology, and successively put forward relevant orders and strategic policies to develop artificial intelligence. Professor Gustav Ghedini analyzed the European Union's documents on the risks and countermeasures of artificial intelligence at three levels, and the profound challenge of artificial intelligence to the concept of copyright subject and object, and held that the legislation and enforcement of copyright law in China set a model for the development of global law.
