Zhang Jun, Party Secretary and Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate attended the meeting of the fourth batch of legal interns of the Supreme People's Procuratorate on July 30th, and Tong Jianming, Deputy Secretary of the Supreme People's Procuratorate Party Group and Executive Deputy Procurator-General, attended the meeting together. Professor Yuan Zhijie, Associate Dean of Law School, led Tang Shuchen, Li Lingzhi, Zhao Qiulin, Zhang Qi four graduate students to participate in this internship to attend the meeting.
At the meeting, Procurator-General Zhang Jun combined with General Secretary Xi Jinping's "July 1st" speech to encourage legal interns to learn, comprehend and practice Xi Jinping's thought of rule of law, strengthen their theoretical application ability through internships, and strive for the goal of the second century. Combining with the practice of procuratorial work, he put forward four hopes for interns: diligent in study, sensitive to thinking, brave in practice and strict with self-discipline.
It is understood that the legal intern system of the Supreme People's Procuratorate is an important measure to promote the two-way exchanges and cooperation between procuratorial organs and law schools, and to innovate the training mechanism of legal talents. This time, 42 legal interns were selected, and they will carry out internships for half a year in the highest procuratorial organ. The highest inspection department will specify the post for each intern, designate the instructor, and formulate the training plan according to the intern's specialty and research direction, so as to enhance the intern's practical ability.
