In order to further enhance the teaching ability of young teachers in capital universities and build a platform for young teachers to grow up, the 12th Young Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Competition in Beijing Universities kicked off in Peking University Health Science Center on the morning of May 13th and ended on June 10th. More than 290 contestants from more than 70 universities in Beijing participated in the competition. Taking "Teaching A Good Course" as the concept, the competition is divided into four categories: liberal arts (including ideological and political special courses), science, engineering and medicine. After three links of teaching design, teaching display and teaching reflection, the contestants competed the awards. Finally, after scoring and comprehensive evaluation by the judges, and after publicity without objection, Li Xiaoxiao, a teacher of our school, won the third prize of Class A in the liberal arts group.
Teacher Li Xiaoxiao was qualified for this competition by passing the preliminary competition of the school, the final competition of the university and the in-school selection competition of the Beijing Youth Education Competition held by the university. After the above-mentioned competitions, Teacher Li Xiaoxiao of our school stood out and became one of the contestants representing Beijing Normal University in the 12th Young Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Competition in Beijing Universities. Then, after a series of preparatory work, such as school grinding class and department grinding class, he formally participated in the competition.
Founded in 1995, the Young Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Competition in Beijing Universities is held every two years. It is organized by the Beijing Education Union and widely participated by Beijing universities. It has set up a four-level competition mode and platform of school-university-Beijing Competition-recommended to participate in the national young teachers' teaching competition, which has developed from a single classroom teaching competition into a career development boosting system for young teachers in colleges and universities with rich connotations, complete levels, distinctive features and extensive participation. This competition has set up a professional platform for cultivating outstanding young teachers and improving the overall quality of the teaching team, and also provids a rare opportunity for young teachers to improve their teaching ability. Up to now, it has become the teaching competition for young teachers with the largest number of participants and the highest specifications in Beijing universities.
In the preparation process of this competition, the whole school attached great importance to it, and the participating teachers carefully prepared lessons, and helped Teacher Li Xiaoxiao prepare for the competition fully through activities such as exercising lessons organized by the school trade union. This competition not only shows the teaching level of young teachers in our school, but also shows that our school attaches great importance to the training of young teachers, and has achieved a new breakthrough in the Beijing Youth Education Competition of our school, expecting our school teachers to create more brilliant achievements in the Youth Education Competition!
