In the competition, the team from Beijing Normal University won the championship, and the teams from Soochow University(Taiwan) and Liaoning University won the second place and third place, respectively.

The representative team of Beijing Normal University was successfully established in September 2017. Professor Li Bin from the Law School and Assistant Professor Zhao Chenguang from the Criminal Law Science Research Institute were coached by Professor Huang Feng of the Criminal Law Research Institute and Associate Professor Liao Shiju of the Law School. . The Chinese Criminal Court's Chinese Moot Court Competition consisted of 48 teams from Chinese-speaking countries and regions. The participating teams competed in a virtual case, in the form of prosecutors, defense lawyers and victim lawyers. Oral debates were held in the appeals court.
