From June 9th to June 10th, 2014, Professor Liu Zongde from the Law School of National Chengchi University of Taiwan, at the invitation of Vice President Zhang Hong of the School of Law, came to our school to give two wonderful series of academic lectures to the teachers and students of the two schools. Associate Professor Zhang Hong, Associate Dean of the School of Law, Associate Professor Huang Fenglan of the School of Law, Teacher Tang Yan, and Dr. Sun Mingzong from the National Chengchi University of Taiwan attended the lecture.
Professor Liu Zongde is the director of the Taiwan Administrative Law Society and the famous administrative jurist in Taiwan. The theme of the lecture on the evening of June 9th is "Administrative Jurisprudence Methodology - Also on the Behavior and System of Administrative Procedure Law." Professor Liu said: "Administrative procedures are not a single act, administrative procedures are a complete set of legal systems." He then elaborates on administrative law methodology from three levels: administrative legal relations, administrative behavior forms, and administrative systems. The language is vivid and popular, and numerous examples are combined with theoretical interpretation. . After the lecture, Associate Professor Zhang Hong, deputy dean of the School of Law, gave a high degree of recognition to the lectures, and made a wonderful summary and comment. Professor Huang Fenglan and Professor Tang Yan from the School of Law also exchanged ideas with Professor Liu Zongde on some issues.

The theme of the lecture on the afternoon of June 10th was “Public Law Theory of Public-Private Cooperation and Self-Regulation”. From the perspective of comparative law, Professor Liu Zongde made the students understand the origin and development of the two by telling the relationship between the "public-private partnership" and the "self-regulation" in Japanese law and the Anglo-American law. After the lecture, the students conducted in-depth thinking and actively asked questions. Professor Liu answered each question carefully and the lecture ended satisfactorily in a pleasant atmosphere.

The total length of the two lectures was less than five hours, but Professor Liu Zongde talked about it, and the teachers and students present were still unfinished. Professor Liu Zongde brought two lectures that benefited the facts of the two schools of law in the compact Beijing trip. Such academic exchanges have broadened the mindset and vision of students, and many students expressed the hope that there will be more academic exchange activities.
