On the afternoon of March 8, 2012, Dr. Chery Matherly, Associate Dean of the Global Education Center of the University of Tulsa, USA, and Kate Barron Alicante, Program Director of the School of Energy Law, visited the Beijing Normal University. Professor Wang Xiumei, Assistant Dean of the Institute of Criminal Law Science of Beijing Normal University and Deputy Director of the International Criminal Law Institute, and Associate Professor Zhang Hong, Associate Dean of the School of Law, warmly welcomed the guests and had a discussion.
Professor Wang Xiumei introduced the basic situation of the Criminal Academy, the student situation and research results. Associate Professor Zhang Hong introduced the basic situation of the law school and the employment direction of the students. Dr. Chery Matherly introduced the Master of Laws in Energy Law (LLM) program at the University of Tulsa School of Law. The two sides combined their respective academic strengths and characteristics to reach a preliminary intention for the cooperation in the Master of Laws in Energy Law (LLM) project, and further discussed exchanges and cooperation in the fields of professor exchange visits.
