Christophe Jamin, Dean of the School of Law of the Paris School of Political Science in France, visited our institute on April 22, 2011. Professor Zhang Yuanhuang, secretary of the Party Committee of the two schools of law, held a discussion on behalf of the dean of Christophe Jamin on behalf of the college. Professor Xiong Yuemin and Associate Professor Huang Zhenzhong, Associate Dean of the School of Law Associate Professor Sun Ping of the Criminal Academy visited the forum.
After introducing the basic situation of the college, the two sides focused on the ways and means of exchange and cooperation, focusing on in-depth discussions on undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and teacher exchanges. Combining the academic advantages and characteristics of both parties, the preliminary intention of cooperation and exchange in the fields of intellectual property law, international commercial arbitration and company law was initially reached.
The French School of Political Science in Paris was founded in 1871 after the end of the Franco-Prussian War. It has nine centers that specialize in multidisciplinary integration and comparative studies. It enjoys international studies in the fields of economics, law, sociology and history. It is well-known that many French prime ministers have graduated from the institute in recent years. The Paris School of Politics has three stages: bachelor, master and doctor. The Paris School of Political Science has an inter-school cooperation agreement with more than 350 universities in 50 countries around the world, and the Paris School of Political Science is the most extensive social science library in mainland Europe.
