LU Jianping, male, born in December 1963, Zhejiang Province; Dean of BNU Law School, Professor of Law, Doctoral Supervisor of of Beijing Normal University; Doctor of Laws, Montpellier University, France; Executive Vice President of the China Branch of the International Association of Criminal Law, Vice President of the Chinese Criminal Law Association, and Vice President of the Chinese Society of Criminology. Since 1996, he has been granted government special subsidies by the State Council. In May 2002, he was awarded the “Beijing May Fourth Medal”. In October 2002, he was awarded the “Beijing Top Ten Outstanding Youth” nomination award. In December 2004, he was awarded the 4th “Outstanding Young Jurist” by China Law Society. In 2005, he was selected to be included in the “New Century Excellent Talents Program” by the Ministry of Education. In 2013, he was named “Beijing Excellent Teacher”. His main area of teaching and research covers criminal law, criminal policy, criminology, and economic law.
