He has served as legal consultant for the Department of Law and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Law and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Institute of Marine Strategy of the State Oceanic Administration. He has provided legal advices for China’s lawsuits in the dispute settlement mechanism of the World Trade Organization and territorial sovereignty and maritime delimitation disputes with neighboring countries. As a member of the Chinese government delegation, he has appeared in the World Trade Organization Dispute Settlement Body.
