Series Report on Doctor of 2018’s Entering New Campus in Changping Part II--Law School New Doctoral Students of 2018 Orientation Work Successfully Closed
On October 8, 2018, Changping Campus of Law School of Beijing Normal University held new doctoral students of 2018 orientation work. Party General Branch Secretary Professor LIANG Yingxiu, Vice President Professor CHAI Rong, Party General Branch Deputy Secretary Teacher YUAN Yin guided on the site, and Teacher XU Shulin, Teacher QI Shufeng from Law School Student Work Office and several student volunteers were devoted to the orientation work.
On the morning of Cold Dew, even the cold wind could not stop the enthusiasm of teachers and volunteers. At AM 6:00, teachers and students for the orientation work departed from the headquarters to Changping Campus for the preparation of orientation work. During the orientation, the staff received new students warmly and efficiently completed a series of works as checking information, sign-in registration, distributing brochure and souvenir, etc.
Party General Branch Secretary Professor LIANG Yingxiu, Vice President Professor CHAI Rong, Party General Branch Deputy Secretary Teacher YUAN Yin of our school worked at the orientation point to receive new students on behalf of the school, answered various questions of new students who entered Beijing Normal University and Changping New Campus for the first time, and encouraged them to chase dream of law in the Law School.
During the orientation, university leaders as Party Committee Secretary CHENG Jianping, President DONG Qi, etc. Came to the orientation point, listened to our orientation report, and cordially talked with new students on the site to know their living condition in Changping Campus, and appraised for the warm souvenir our school prepared for the new students.
On the afternoon, Party General Branch Deputy Secretary, Class Teacher of New Doctoral Student Class of 2018 and Teacher XU Shulin from Student Work Office visited the dormitories of new doctoral students of 2018. Teacher YUAN had a heart-to-heart talk with students, knew their dormitory lives, and expected them to achieve greater development in Law School. At the same time, she conveyed the school’s concern and expressed that the school would try to provide a broader platform to help every student fulfil dream.
Up to PM 17:30 of October 8, all 16 doctoral students of 2018 of Law School have completed registration. Next, the new students will be devoted to rich curriculum and theoretical research. Hope they could fulfil dream and become a legal practitioner with both professional skill and moral integrity in Beijing!
