Law School Student Union was established in 2006. It is a student self-governing organization under the leadership of the Law School Party Branch Committee and the guidance of the sub-committee of Youth League of Law School. The Law School Student Union adheres to the tenet of “Serving Law School wholeheartedly”, actively facilitating the learning and living of Law School students, organizing and carrying out various activities. Law School Student Union is a paradise for Law School students to learn and act, a fertile ground for growth and success, and a bridge for communication and cooperation and a stage for creation and display.
Presidium
Manifesto: Comprehensive coordination, overall planning
Responsibilities: the Presidium is a permanent representative office when the Student Congress closes, responsible for coordinating the work of the Student Union and ensuring the orderly development of various student work.
Office
Declaration: meticulous and profound
Responsibilities: The office simultaneously undertakes the financial management, data collection and material procurement of the Student Union, and exercises the supervisory feedback function by setting up a platform for students to reflect the daily problems in school or university, conducting satisfaction surveys during activities of Law School and in-house self-evaluation and peer review after those activities. The office is the competent butler of the Student Union.
Learning department
Declaration: provide platform for high talk to challenge the elite debater; falsify the truth and conduct the most academic lectures; exchange ideas in the sea of knowledge.
Responsibilities: the Learning Department serves the law school students in all aspects and guides them to learn and apply. It creates a strong academic atmosphere, mobilizes the students' enthusiasm for learning, and enriches the cultural life. Its main activities include a series of lectures, debates, moot courts and so on.
External Relations Department
Declaration: meets challenges with smile, creates value through communication
Responsibilities: the External Relations Department has always been responsible for building a bridge between the Student Union and the outside world. The Department of External Relations is responsible for promoting the activities of the Student Union and enhancing the popularity and expanding the influence of the Student Union and providing a good environment for the activities of Law School. Its main activities are: providing material and financial sponsorship for the student union through cooperation with external sponsors, liaising and organizing activities of inter-school exchanges and cooperation.
Literature and Art Department
Declaration: Before the stage, we offer wonderful performances; behind the scenes, we build the most beautiful stage.
Responsibilities: the Literature and Art Department is mainly responsible for planning various parties, organizing students to participate in various cultural competitions, cultivating the sentiments of the students and promoting the spiritual civilization of the campus. Its main activities include graduate evenings, campus singer competitions, and campus apparel competitions.
Sports Department
Declaration: make you feel the passion of sports and show the charm of competition.
Responsibilities: the Sports Department is responsible for managing the sports teams of the college, scheduling and organizing students to participate in various sports competitions, encouraging students to exercise and advocate healthy civilization. Its main activities include the “Sun Cup” football game, the “Moon Cup” basketball game, the “Star Cup” volleyball match, the “Galaxy Cup” table tennis match and the sports meeting.
Network Department
Declaration: Construct a grand blueprint, create a new design
Responsibilities: The Network Department is responsible to cooperates with the promotion of the activities of the Student Union and to provide computer technical support for various activities. Its daily work includes graphic and logo design, multimedia display for activities, computer maintenance and the construction and update of the college website.
