All Law School undergraduate students:
In the school year of 2017-2018, the Law School Student Union has completed all missions in a serious and successful manner. For the further development of the Law School Student Union and the full play to the role of the student union in the construction of campus culture and to better serve Law School students, the Student Union decided to launch the election of the presidium in recent period. The specific arrangements are as follows:
Election position
Presidium of the Law School Student Union (5 persons)
Application conditions
Law School full-time undergraduate;
Candidates with experience in student organization are preferred.
Procedures
Public registration
Students who meet the above conditions can log in to the official website of the Law School of Beijing Normal University to view the relevant announcements, download the “Registration Form for the 13th Student Union of the Beijing Normal University Law School”, or click the “Read the original” download registration form below.
Please send the application form to bnulawstu@126.com before 12:00 noon on May 21 (Monday). Registration will no longer be accepted after the deadline.
Qualification review
Law School Student Union will conduct a qualification examination of the applicants, and the passer will enter the preliminary interview.
Preliminary interview
The preliminary interview will be on May 27 (Sunday). Specific time and place will be notified separately.
Open reply to the campaign
The open reply will be held at the Law School Student Congress. Specific time and place will be notified separately. The content of the reply should mainly includes self-introduction, job understanding, work ideas, etc. The candidates can use PPT, speech, etc., and the time must not exceed 3 minutes. There will be judges to ask questions.
Voting election
The on-site voting will be conducted by the student representatives attending the Student Congress. After the votes are counted on the spot, the results of the voting will be decided and announced. Then, a new presidium comes into being.
Precautions
In order to ensure the fairness of the election, if any candidate has a non-legitimate canvassing, his/her qualification will be cancelled immediately.
