Dear students,
In order to further strengthen the team building of graduate students of Law School, to give full play to the role of the Law School Graduate Student Union in the campus culture construction and to better serve the students, the 7th Graduate Congress of Law School and the election of the 8th Presidium officially will be launched with the leadership of the general party branch of the Law School and the guidance of the sub-committee of the Youth League of Law School, according to the “Provisions of the Law School Graduate Student Union of Beijing Normal University” and the “Administrative Rules of the Cadres of Law School Graduate Student Union of Beijing Normal University”.
The sub-committee of the Youth League of Law School attaches great importance to this Congress and decides to set up a preparatory committee for the 7th Graduate Congress of Law School and the election of the 8th Presidium, appointing the 7th presidium of Law School Graduate Student Union as the director and deputy director, and the ministers, deputy ministers and all members of Law School Graduate Student Union are appointed as members of the preparatory committee. Election procedures
Candidates submit election speech materials before May 19, 2017 (Saturday)
The Preparatory Committee of the Congress will review the candidate’s election materials on May 20, 2017 (Sunday) and determine the order of the speech;
Each candidate will give a three-minute speech in order and will be questioned by the judges.
Election voting method
Representatives are elected by each class and voted by secret ballot according to “Election Method of the Presidium of Law School Graduate Student Union of the 7th Graduate Congress of Beijing Normal University Law School”.

In order to ensure the fairness of the election, if the candidate has a non-legitimate canvassing, his/her qualification for the election will be cancelled immediately.
