At 6:30pm on November 4, the 2020 Campus Recruitment Talk of DeHeng Law Offices was held in room 1922 of rear main building of Beijing Normal University. Lawyer WANG Jianwen, Lawyer WANG Yinan, Lawyer FAN Chaoxia from DeHeng Law Offices introduced the overview, career development path and advantages of the office.
Lawyer WANG Jianwen is the partner of DeHeng Constructional Engineering and Real Estate Specialized Committee. Lawyer WANG Yinan is the partner of DeHeng Cross-border Specialized Committee. Lawyer FAN Chaoxia is in charge of the LBO Specialized Committee.
First of all, WANG Jianwen introduced development history of the office. He introduced the establishment of DeHeng Law Offices and changes in its name and said that DeHeng is dedicated into innovation in the “Belt&Road” initiative and made outstanding contribution to the “Belt&Road” service mechanism launched in Milan, Italy with CAEFI in 2015 and the online operation of “Belt&Road” International Business Mediation Center online mediation system established in 2016. Mr. WANG also mentioned that as of August 31, 2019, the center selected 290 mediators worldwide to carry out mediation in 190 cities in over 70 countries, handled 585 civil and commercial cases and its success rate for mediation reached 65%.
Later, Lawyer WANG Yinan shared with students his growth path and development direction. For applied posts, he reminded students of learning about the law firm, background and business direction of interviewers comprehensively before submitting resumes and having interviews and having self-reflections on them, proposing worthwhile questions and having in-depth communication with interviews. He gave specific examples to tell students not to rush in submitting resume and having interviews and not to just think about whether the firm can provide a work post but make sufficient preparations.
Later, Lawyer FAN Chaoxia started her talk. She started from occupational mobility and talked about the special charm of the practice of laws. By referring to her own experience and business experience for years, she pointed out lawyers’ necessary abilities of learning, comprehending and quickly grasping demands of customers.
Later, students raised questions about career development path and remuneration to the three lawyers. The last session was lucky draw. 5 students obtained the interview pass card of this autumn interview through lucky draw and 5 students obtained the invitation letter for visit to DeHeng headquarter. Students said that they benefited a lot and had group photos with the lawyers.
