In order to help our students get a better knowledge of the employment situation and make a better plan of study and life, our school held a lecture of presenting 2019 graduates employment policy in Room 108 of the Second Teaching Building at 6:00PM, September 27. Teacher YUAN Yin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, Teacher TANG Can, class adviser of class 1 of 2016 JM, and Teacher LI Xiang from Student Affairs Office attended the meeting to give students an in-depth interpretation of employment policies.

Teacher YUAN Yin firstly introduced the graduate employment policies in Beijing. On the one hand, she enhanced students’ confidence in working in first-tier cities with detailed data; on the other hand, she described the unique charm and advantages of second-tier and third-tier cities in detail. Afterwards, she introduced the preferential and incentive policies for graduates willing to work in western and grassroots, and encouraged students, combining their actual situations with the need of our country, to write their own youth stories in places where they were needed. She also emphasized the growth plan of Beijing college graduates and the selection plans for local selected graduates. Teacher YUAN Yin also encouraged students to cultivate international view to show their abilities and expand their horizons by interning in international organization or being a Chinese teacher abroad. With vivid examples, Teacher YUAN Yin explained the important meaning of enrolling in the army, and encouraged students to join up. At last, Teacher YUAN Yin sent her best wishes, hoping our students can study and work happily, and have a brilliant life.

Teacher LI Xiang took the specific situation of law school as a starting point, and introduced the employment characteristics of 2018 law school graduates in employment region and direction selection in detail. afterwards, based on sorting and explaining employment timetable and graduates’ basic information of 2019, she firstly introduced special problems of studying abroad and in China. And then, focusing on the common materials of employment, she mainly explained the employment policy in detail, which included how to fill the employment materials and all kinds of matters needing attention during usage. After further sharing of Beijing employment policy, Teacher LI Xiang put forward intimate instructions for the students meticulously, from resume writing to the adjustment of the state of mind, and from the choice of direction to the process recording.

“More preparation may quicken the speed in doing work”, a deep understanding of the employment policies will wipe the obstacles and lay a solid foundation for students' future job searching. “Winds and waves will be when the sail sea”, our law school students will certainly be able to show their talent on the job-hunting stage and obtain fruitful results.
